JCI Opens Lower on Lack of Sentiments

The lack of positive global and domestic sentiment triggered the Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) correction at the opening of trading on  Friday (18/6) by 2.93 points.

"We estimate that the JCI will still weaken this morning, with the lack of positive sentiment from global and domestic as well as a spike in domestic COVID-19 cases and the start of full hospital capacity," said PT Samuel Sekuritas Research in a note in Jakarta.

Meanwhile, at the opening of trading this Friday, the Indonesia Stock Exchange opened lower 2.93 points (0.05%) to 6,065.52. At the same time, the leading stock index LQ45 also fell 0.65 points (0.07%) to 876.87.
