Investors Wait and See, JCI Opens Higher


The Jakarta Composite Index opened up 20.6 points during trading on Monday (31/5) amid the pending actions taken by market players on inflation data.

"The Indonesaia stock exchange is expected to move flat, because investors may choose to wait for inflation data and the PMI Market," said PT Samuel Sekuritas Research in Jakarta.

The JCI, at the opening of trading on Monday, opened up 20.6 points (0.35%) to 5,869.22. Meanwhile, the leading stock index LQ45 rose 5.51 points (0.64%) to 872.17.
