JCI Opens Down on Lack of Sentiment


The Jakarta Composite Index at the opening of trading on Wednesday (9/6) opened with a correction of 26.33 points on the back of the lack of sentiment, and market players were on the wait-and-see mode.

"The Indonesian stock market is expected to rebound slightly after falling quite deep yesterday, but with the lack of positive sentiment, especially from within the country, the rebound is quite limited," said Research by PT Samuel Sekuritas in Jakarta.

Market players will also wait for data on the Indonesian Consumer Confidence Index and China's inflation data.

Meanwhile, at the opening of trading on Wednesday, the JCI corrected 26.33 points (0.44%) to 5,973.04.

Meanwhile, the leading stock index LQ45 fell 8.11 points (0.91%) to 886.72.
