JCI Opens Down 0.46% at 6,219


The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) in trading this morning, Tuesday (9/3), opened down 31.74 points or 0.46% at 6,218.85.

There were 133 stocks that rose, 177 stocks fell, and 180 stocks were stagnant. The total trading volume reached 1.99 billion shares with a total market turnover of Rp1.07 trillion.

Only one share sector survived into the green zone, the plantation sector, which rose 1.43%.

Meanwhile, nine other stock sectors are in the red zone. The sectors with the deepest weakness were the mining sector, which fell 1.16%, the miscellaneous industry sector fell by a rate of 0.98%, and the financial sector was down by a rate of 0.68%.

Among the top gainers of the LQ45 stocks were PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SMGR) which was up 1.14%, PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk (TLKM) gained 1.12%, PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk (INTP) rose 1.13%.

Shares among the top losers in the LQ45 included PT Vale Indonesia Tbk (INCO), which fell 2.90%, PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) was down 2.19%, PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA) declined 1.75%).

Foreign investors recorded net sales of Rp203.67 billion in all markets.

The stocks with the largest foreign net sales were PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) with Rp146.2 billion, PT Astra International Tbk (ASII) Rp21.2 billion, and PT Vale Indonesia Tbk (INCO) Rp17.7 billion.
