JCI Ends Higher, Rising 0.67% to 6,129


Jakarta - The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI), at the end of today's trading on Tuesday (14/9), closed up 40.93 points or 0.67% to 6,129.

There were 306 stocks rising, 193 stocks weakening, and 160 stocks stagnant. The total trading volume reached 24.69 billion shares with a turnover of Rp14.91 trillion.

All compact sectoral indices strengthened, supporting the JCI's rise. The sectoral index with the largest increase was the energy sector IDX, which rose 2.16%.

Meanwhile, the top gainers in the LQ45 were PT XL Axiata Tbk (EXCL) (8.86%), PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGAS) (5.71%), PT Pakuwon Jati Tbk (PWON) (3.46%).

The top losers in the LQ45 were PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk (MNCN) (-2.82%), PT Erajaya Swasembada Tbk (ERAA) (-2.56%), PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk ( MDKA) (-2.49%).
