JCI Ends Falling 1.41% to 6,026


Jakarta - The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) at the end of today's trading, Wednesday (8/9), closed down 86.38 points or 1.41% to 6,026.

There were 138 stocks rising, 376 stocks lower, and 141 stocks stagnant. The total trading volume reached 24.54 billion shares with a total value of Rp12.08 trillion.

Nine sectoral indices weakened following the decline in the JCI. Meanwhile, one sectoral index survived to the green zone, the Technology Sector IDX, which rose 0.08%.

The top gainers among the stocks in the LQ45 were PT Indah Kiat Pulp and Paper Tbk (INKP) (3.61%). PT Paper Factory Tjiwi Kimia Tbk (TKIM) (3.04%). PT Indo Tambangraya Megah Tbk (ITMG) (1.91%).

Meanwhile, the top losers in the LQ45 included PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (AKRA) (-5.91%). PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk (INTP) (-5.48%). PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk ( SMGR) (-4.20%).
