JCI Ends Falling 0.90% to 6,058


Jakarta - The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) fell 55.16 points (0.90 %) to 6,058.08 at the end of trading on Thursday (26/8).

There were 187 stocks that rose, 333 stocks fell, and 136 stocks were unchanged. The entire transaction volume was 22.33 billion shares, with a transaction value of Rp11.19 trillion.

The JCI was driven into the red zone by nine sectoral indicators. The financial sector fell 1.27 % to close the session.

The biggest gainers in the LQ45 were PT Adaro Energy Tbk (ADRO) at 1.99 %, PT Paper Factory Tjiwi Kimia Tbk (TKIM) at 1.49%, and PT United Tractors Tbk (UNTR) at 0.78 %.

Meanwhile, the top losers in the LQ45 were PT Semen Indonesia Tbk (SMGR) -6.90%, PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT) -3.65%, PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk (TBIG) -3.58%.
