JCI Ends Falling 0.21% to 7,112.45


Jakarta - The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI), at the end of trading Tuesday (9/27), closed down 0.21%, or 15.05 points, to 7,112.45.

At the market close, 279 stocks rose, 263 stocks weakened, and 147 stocks were unchanged. The total volume of stock exchange transactions reached 26.05 billion shares with a transaction value of Rp13.69 trillion.

Although the JCI weakened, seven sectoral indices strengthened. In contrast, four sectors ended in the red zone.

Meanwhile, the stocks among the LQ45 top gainers were PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) which rose 4.38%. PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk (TBIG) gained 3.96%. PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGAS) climbed 2.94%.

For stocks that fall into the LQ45 top losers category, among others, PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk (TPIA) -4.44%, PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT) -3.47%, PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (MEDC) -3.23%.
