JCI Ends 0.35 Percent Higher at 6,292 Today


The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) at the close of trading today, on Tuesday (16/2), strengthened 22.07 points or 0.35 percent to 6,292.40.

There was 236 stock up, 147 stocks fell, and 154 stocks were unchanged. The total volume of stock exchange transactions reached 15.74 billion shares with a market turnover of Rp13.07 trillion.

The top gainers in LQ45, namely, PT Bank Tabungan Negara Tbk (BBTN), rose 4.04 percent, PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk (CPIN) gained 3.27 percent, PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) increased by 2.06 percent.

Among the LQ45 top losers included PT XL Axiata Tbk (EXCL), which fell 3.91 percent, PT Bumi Serpong Damai Tbk (BSDE) slid 2.78 percent, PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (MEDC) declined 2.16 percent.
