The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) at the end of trading today, Friday (5/2), closed up 44.51 points or 0.73 percent to 6,151.72.

Of all the stocks traded,  307 shares rose, 176 stocks fell, and 142 shares were stagnant. The total trading volume of shares reached 14.31 billion shares with a total value of Rp12.59 trillion.

The top gainers in the LQ45 index included PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM), which rose 10.83 percent, PT Ciputra Development Tbk (CTRA) rose 7.29 percent, PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SMGR) increased by 5, 88 percent.

Meanwhile, stocks among the top losers in the LQ45 index were PT Pabrik Kertas Tjiwi Kimia Tbk (TKIM), which plunged 6.08 percent, PT Indah Kiat Pulp and Paper Tbk (INKP) fell 5.11 percent, PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk ( TBIG) slid 3.43 percent.
