At the end of trading today, the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) on Tuesday (23/2) closed up 17.49 points or 0.28 percent at 6,272.81.

Of the composite, 234 stocks rose, 248 shares fell, and 154 stocks were unchanged. The total volume of transactions reached 14.64 billion shares with a market turnover of Rp12.96 trillion.

Among the top gainers in the LQ45 were PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk (TLKM), which rose 9.46 percent, PT XL Axiata Tbk (EXCL) rose 4.23 percent, increased by PT Bank Tabungan Negara Tbk (BBTN) 3.63 percent.

Meanwhile, the top losers in the LQ45 included PT Summarecon Agung Tbk (SMRA), which fell 6.96 percent, PT Bumi Serpong Damai Tbk (BSDE) slid 4.37 percent, PT Indo Tambangraya Megah Tbk (ITMG) decreased 3.91 percent.
