JCI Closes Rising 0.75% to 6,205


The Jakarta Composite Index, at the end of trading Thursday (5/8), closed up 46.38 points (0.75%) to 6,205.41.

There were 233 stocks that rose, 281 shares weakened, and 142 stocks remained unchanged. The total trading volume of shares reached 29.66 billion shares with a total value of Rp. 18.07 trillion.

Four sectoral indexes strengthened, supporting the JCI's rise. Meanwhile, six other sectoral indices were in the red zone.

Meanwhile, the top gainers in  the LQ45 were PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk (BBTN) (6.34%), PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI) (5.19%), PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT) (4.81%).

Among the top losers in the LQ45, included PT Erajaya Swasembada Tbk (ERAA) (-4.58%), PT Adaro Energy Tbk (ADRO) (-4.41%), PT Timah Tbk (TINS) (-4.10%).
