Jakarta - The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI), at the end of today's trading on Thursday (9/9), rose 42.19 points or 0.70% to 6,068.

There were 208 stocks that rose, 299 stocks weakened, and 143 stocks were stagnant. The total trading volume reached 25.96 billion with a total turnover of Rp. 12.72 trillion.

The increase in the JCI was supported by eight out of 11 sectors. The sector that strengthened the most was industry at 3.16%. Meanwhile, three sectors declined, such as transportation by 0.85%, non-primary consumer goods by 0.66%, and technology by 0.33%.

Meanwhile, the top gainers in the LQ45 were PT Charoen Pokphand Tbk (CPIN) which rose 6.02% to Rp 6,600. PT Sarana Menara Nusantara Tbk (TOWR) gained 5.30% to Rp 1,390, PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM ) climbed 5.17% to Rp 2,440.

Among the stocks were the LQ45 top losers.  PT Wijaya Karya Tbk (WIKA) fell 3.76% to Rp 1,025. PT PP Tbk (PTPP) decreased 3.42% to Rp 985, PT Chandra Asri Petr
