Jakarta - The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) at the end of trading on Tuesday (6/7) rose 0.63%, or 44.46, to 7,141.04.

There were 229 stocks rising, 298 stocks weakening, and 168 stocks unchanged. The total volume of stock exchange transactions reached 32.02 billion shares with a transaction value of Rp18.88 trillion.

Meanwhile, the LQ45 index's top gainers were PT HM Sampoerna Tbk (HMSP), which rose 5.94%. PT Adaro Energy Indonesia Tbk (ADRO) gained 5.49%, and PT Indo Tambangraya Megah Tbk (ITMG) climbed 3.70%.

Meanwhile, among the top losers in the LQ45 were PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA)  which fell 5.57%; PT Mitra Keluarga Karyasehat Tbk (MIKA), which was down 4.09%; and PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk (INTP), which declined 3.54%.
