The Jakarta Composite Index at the end of today's trading, Wednesday (4/8), rose 0.46% or 28.46 points to 6,159.03.

Of all traded stocks, 246  were rising, 255 stocks lower, and 150 stocks unchanged. The total transaction volume reached 31.84 billion shares with a market turnover of Rp14.88 trillion.

Of the 11 sectoral indices, six sectors strengthened along with the JCI. Meanwhile, five sectoral indices were still corrected.

Meanwhile, the top gainers in the LQ45 were PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (MEDC) 6.41%, PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk (JPFA) 5.63%, PT Ace Hardware Indonesia Tbk (ACES) 3.02 %.

Among the stocks that were listed as top losers in LQ45 were PT Timah Tbk (TINS) -4.23%, PT PP Tbk (PTPP) -2.23%, PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) -2.02%.
