The  Jakarta Composite Index at the end of trading on Monday (2/8) rose 26.50 points (0.44%) to 6,096.54

There were 243 stocks rising, 262 stocks weakening, and 144 stocks unchanged. The total transaction volume reached 26.67 billion shares with a turnover of Rp13.44 trillion.

Seven sectoral indices supported the JCI's rise today. Meanwhile, four sectors fell into the red zone.

Meanwhile, the top gainers in the LQ45 were PT Pakuwon Jati Tbk (PWON) 7.50%, PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT) 7.22%, PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk (CPIN) 4.90%.

Among the LQ45 top losers, included PT Sarana Menara Nusantara Tbk (TOWR) -4.10%, PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA) -2.36%, PT Bank Tabungan Negara Tbk (BBTN) -2.28%.
