JCI Closes Rising 0.13% to 6,356


At the trading on Friday (19/3), the Jakarta Composite Index closed up 8.33 points or 0.13% to 6,356.16.

Of all traded stocks, 176 stocks strengthened, 295 weakened, and 168 were unchanged. The total trading volume reached 18.61 billion shares with a market turnover of Rp13.77 trillion.

Four sectors of stocks strengthened, supporting the increase in the JCI. Meanwhile, six other stock sectors are in the red zone.

The stock sectors with the largest increase were the consumer goods sector which rose 2.47%, the manufacturing sector gained 1.66%, and the basic industrial sector was up 0.99%.

Meanwhile, the sectors with the deepest decline were the construction sector, which fell 1.53%, the plantation sector was down 1.17%, and the mining sector lost 0.66%.

The stocks among the LQ45 top gainers were PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk (INTP) which rose 6.77%, PT HM Sampoerna Tbk (HMSP) increased 6.60%, PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk (JPFA) was up 4.92 %.

The stocks among the LQ45 top losers included PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk (TBIG) fell 4.63%, PT Indah Kiat Pulp and Paper Tbk (INKP) slipped 4.59%, PT Tjiwi Kimia Paper Factory Tbk (TKIM) decreased 4.21%.
