JCI Closes Falling 0.28% to 6,041


Jakarta - The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) at the end of today's trading on Friday (27/8), fell 16.71 points or 0.28% to 6,041.36.

Of 184 stocks were rising, 320 stocks were lower, and 145 stocks unchanged. The total trading volume reached 19.13 billion with a turnover of Rp10.07 trillion.

Throughout trading, the JCI moved a lot in the red zone, but at the end of trading, the JCI narrowed its decline.

The top gainers in the LQ45 were PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (AKRA), which increased 2.42 % to Rp3,810. PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk (INDF) gained 2.39 % to Rp6,425, and PT Kalbe Farma Tbk (KLBF) climbed 1.49% to Rp1,365.

Meanwhile, the top LQ45 losers were PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (MEDC), which fell 4.13% to Rp464. PT Erajaya Swasembada Tbk (ERAA) dropped 3.48% to Rp555 and PT Adaro Energy Tbk (ADRO) slipped 2.73% to Rp1,245.
