JCI Closes Falling 0.24% to 6,112


Jakarta - The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI), at the end of today's trading on Tuesday (7/9), fell 0.24% or 14.54 points to 6,112.

There were 252 stocks that rose, 247 stocks weakened, and 148 stocks were unchanged. The total transaction volume reached 22.14 billion shares with a transaction value of Rp9.74 trillion.

The decline in the JCI was dragged down by the decline in five sectoral indices today despite six sectors ended up in the green zone.

Meanwhile, the top gainers in the  LQ45 were PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk (JPFA) which was up 5.29%. PT HM Sampoerna Tbk (HMSP) rose 2.96%.  PT Bumi Serpong Damai Tbk (BSDE) gainned 2.54% .

Among the stocks included in the LQ45 top losers were PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk (TPIA), which fell 3.72%. PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk (INDF) dropped 3.47%. PT Semen Indonesia Tbk (SMGR) slipped 2.99 %.
