JCI Closes Down 0.35 Percent at 6,251.05


The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) at the end of trading today, on Wednesday (24/2), fell 21.75 points or 0.35 percent at 6,251.05.

Of all traded stocks, 198 stocks were higher, 275 stocks fell, 168 shares were unchanged. The total volume of transactions reached 30.36 billion shares with a market turnover of Rp16.59 trillion.

While the stocks among the top gainers in the LQ45 were PT Bank Tabungan Negara Tbk (BBTN) which rose 5 percent, PT Pakuwon Jati Tbk (PWON) increased 3.70 percent, PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk (BBNI) gained 2.10 percent.

Meanwhile, among the LQ45 top losers included PT Erajaya Swasembada Tbk (ERAA) fell 4.26 percent, PT Indah Kiat Pulp and Paper Tbk (INKP) fell 4.22 percent, PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (AKRA) weakened. 4.03 percent.
