At the end of trading today, Tuesday (20/4), the Jakarta Composite Index fell 0.23% or 14.22 points to 6,038.32.

Two hundred twenty-five stocks rose, 259 shares fell, and 162 stocks were unchanged. The total volume of transactions reached 12.67 billion shares with a market turnover of Rp8.53 trillion.

Meanwhile, the top gainers in the LQ45 were PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk (TBIG) which rose 7.63%, PT Summarecon Agung Tbk (SMRA), which gained 5.32%, PT Bank BTPN Syariah Tbk (BTPS) increased 4.18%.

Meanwhile, the stocks among the LQ45 top losers included PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA), which fell 4.20%, PT Indo Tambangraya Megah Tbk (ITMG) declined 2.78%, PT Bank Tabungan Negara Tbk (BBTN) down 1.82%.
