JCI Closes 1.5% Higher at 6,087


The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) at the end of today's trading on Tuesday (22/6) closed higher by 91.58 points or 1.53% to 6,087.84.

Three hundred forty stocks were up, 178 stocks down, and 118 stocks unchanged. The total trading volume reached 17.39 billion shares with a total value of Rp12.03 trillion.

Eight compact sectoral indices strengthened, supporting the JCI's rise. At the same time, the other two sectoral indices slipped into the red zone.

The sectoral index with the largest gain was the IDX Property which rose 2.18%. The IDX Finance rose 2.04%, and the IDX Industry rose 1.74%.

Meanwhile, the weaker sectoral indices were the IDX Health, which fell 0.98%, and the IDX Trans, which fell 0.85%.

Among the top gainers in the LQ45 were PT Ciputra Development Tbk (CTRA) (6.74%), PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk (TPIA) (3.71%), PT Summarecon Agung Tbk (SMRA) (3.66 %).
