The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI), at the end of trading today, on Wednesday (3/2), closed up 33.90 points or 0.56 percent to 6,077.74.

Some 284 stocks rose, 190 stocks fell, and 152 stocks were unchanged. Today's total volume of stock trading on the stock exchange reached 23.69 billion shares with a total value of Rp20.57 trillion.

Shares included in the top gainers in the LQ45, PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk (BBNI) jumped 6.78 percent, PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (AKRA) rose 4.01 percent, PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk (WIKA) was up 3.15 percent.

Meanwhile, the stocks included in the LQ45 were top losers; PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk (TBIG) plunged 6.75 percent, PT Tjiwi Kimia Tbk Paper Factory (TKIM) fell 3.77 percent, PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk. (CPIN) was down 3.75 percent.
