At the end of trading today, on Thursday (27/5), the Jakarta Composite Index  closed up 25.98 points or 0.45% to 5,841.82.

Of all traded stocks, 294 stocks rose, 209 stocks fell, and 138 stocks were unchanged. Total share trading volume reached 25.33 billion shares with a total value of Rp22.90 billion.

Nine compact sectoral indices strengthened, supporting the increase in the JCI. The sectoral indices with the biggest gain were IDX Industry which rose 1.92%, IDX Non-Cyclic increased 1.81%, and IDX Infra gained 1.56%.

One sectoral index slipped into the red zone, namely IDX Energy, which fell 0.19%.

The stocks among the LQ45 top gainers were: PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk (CPIN) (7.38%). PT XL Axiata Tbk (EXCL) (4.37%). PT Ace Hardware Indonesia Tbk (ACES) (4.26%).

Meanwhile, the stocks among the top losers in the LQ45  included PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (MEDC) (-4.17%), PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk
