The Jakarta Composite Index in the first trading session today, Thursday (27/5), strengthened 1.24% or 72.36 points to 5,888.20.

There were 311 stocks that rose, 154 stocks fell, and 155 stocks were stagnant. The total volume of transactions reached 11.18 billion shares with a transaction value of Rp6.4 trillion.

Only the transportation and logistics sector index still fell 0.36%. Ten sectoral indexes rose.

Meanwhile, among the top gainer stocks in the LQ45 top were PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk (CPIN), which was up 7.30%, PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk (JPFA) 5.82%, PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk (MNCN) 4.84%.

Meanwhile, stocks among the LQ45 top losers included PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (MEDC) -2.78%, PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk (TBIG) -2.37%, PT Pabrik Kertas Tjiwi Kimia Tbk (TKIM). -2.15%.
