JC Seen in Pressures on Significant Rise in COVID-19 Cases

The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) on Wednesday (28/7) has the potential to experience pressure by moving to support and resistance levels in the range of 6,062-6,138.

Artha Sekuritas analyst Dennies Christopher Jordan said the JCI was pressured by the increase in positive cases of COVID-19 and the death toll.

However, several listed companies have released financial reports with results that are pretty in line with expectations.

"Technically, the stochastic formed a deadcross. This indicates the JCI has the potential to weaken in the short term," he said.

On the other hand, market participants are still observing the impact of the extension of PPKM Level 4. In addition, the recovery rate for COVID-19 is better. However, the death rate and new cases are still quite high.

A number of stocks that deserve attention in today's trading include AGII, KLBF, and BBRI.
