Jakarta - PT PLN  posted revenue of Rp25.13 trillion in January 2022, an increase of 12.38% compared to the same period last year of around Rp22.36 trillion.

In a press release on Tuesday (22/1), PLN Executive Vice President of Corporate Communications and CSR Agung Murdifi said, "This positive achievement is the result of the company's innovation and efficiency measures."

He considered that the increase in electricity sales growth drove PLN's revenue. Electricity sales in January 2022 were recorded at 22.45-gigawatt-hours (GWh), up 1.03% from the same period last year at 22.23 GWh.

"Getting this increase in electricity sales is proof that the Indonesian economy is starting to recover, which was previously sluggish due to the COVID-19 pandemic," he added.
