LSIP Sales Down 9% at Rp3 Trillion in Jan-Sep


Jakarta - PT London Sumatra Plantations Tbk (LSIP) until January - September 2022 recorded a decline in sales of around 9% to Rp3.04 trillion compared to the same period the previous year of Rp3.33 trillion.

The financial report released on Friday (12/2), the low sales achievement was due to a decrease in palm oil sales volume of around 28% to 180,000 metric tons (MT) from 250,000 MT.

Production of core fresh fruit bunches (FFB) also fell by around 863,000 tonnes due to unfavorable weather and plant rejuvenation activities.

Along with the decline in core FFB production, total CPO production also fell by around 7% to 225,000 tons.

Nevertheless, profit for the period attributable to owners increased by around 2% to Rp764 billion from Rp752 billion. Core profit grew by around 3% to Rp777 billion.
