Jakarta - PT Semen Baturaja Tbk (SMBR) achieved a profit jump attributable to owners for the January-September 2022 period of around 153.67% to Rp43.160 billion, compared to the same period last year of only Rp16.620 billion.

On Monday (10/31), the company released its financial report, which stated that revenue increased by around 8.73% to Rp1.319 trillion from Rp1.213 trillion, helping to boost profits.

The cost of goods sold increased by around 9.19% to Rp711.552 billion from Rp651.645 billion.

Selling expenses also jumped by 6.40% to Rp249.125 billion from Rp234.136 billion. The company also had to accept other operating expenses of around Rp14.811 billion from the previous operating income of Rp6.557 billion.

Operating profit increased by around 2.21% to Rp167.025 billion from Rp163.405 billion.

Financial income decreased by approximately 21.70% to Rp8.091 billion, which was offset by a lower financial expense of approximately 1
