Intiland Development Posts Rp77 Billion Loss in Jan-Sep


Jakarta - PT Intiland Development Tbk (DILD) reported a loss for the year attributable to owners for the January-September 2021 period of Rp77.231 billion from the same period last year, earning a profit of Rp39.453 billion.

This loss was caused by Intiland's low operating income of around 11.43% or from Rp2,064 trillion to Rp1,828 trillion.

Despite the decline in revenue, Intiland managed to reduce the cost of goods sold and direct costs by around 13.40% to Rp1.072 trillion from Rp1.238 trillion.

Intiland's operating profit was also depressed by around 10.43% to Rp459.402 billion from Rp512,924 billion. The decrease in business profit was triggered by an increase in selling expenses by around 44.71% to Rp55.520 billion from Rp39.364 billion.

In addition, interest income was also eroded by around 30.22% to Rp25.177 billion from Rp36.084 billion. Intiland also had to accept the depreciation of foreign exchange gains of around 80.64% or from Rp4,030 billion to only IDR 780 million.

However, Intiland could still pocket a profit from the sale of fixed assets of around 293.45% to Rp360.3 million from Rp91,574 million.

Intiland's total assets during the first nine months of this year were at Rp16,043 trillion, with liabilities of Rp10.1 trillion and equity of Rp5.943 trillion.

Meanwhile, the position of cash and cash equivalents at the end of the period was Rp. 1.711 trillion.
