The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) at the opening of trading on Monday (9/8) opened up 0.32 points amid the waiting for market participants to announce the extension of the Implementation of Restrictions on Community Activities (PPKM).

"For today, we estimate the JCI will move flat, waiting for the announcement of the PPKM extension," said an analyst at Samuel Sekuritas in Jakarta.

As for the opening of trading on Monday, it rose 0.32 points (0.01%) to 6,203.75.

The leading stock index LQ45 rose 0.02 points to 844.16.
