Domestic Investors Dominate in Government Bond Auction on Tuesday


The Directorate General of Financing and Risk Management (DJPPR) of the Ministry of Finance noted an increase in domestic investors' participation in the auction of Government Securities held on Tuesday (6/7).

"The participation of domestic investors who dominated the auction this time amounted to 85.1% of the total bids, or an increase compared to the government bonds auction two weeks ago of around 81.3%," said Director of Government Bond DJPPR, Deni Ridwan, in a statement on Wednesday (7/7).

According to Deni, another 14.9% participation came from foreign investors, with offerings concentrated in new series of government bonds with a tenor of 6 years and 11 years.

"The bids that entered the auction last Tuesday were quite high amid the implementation of the Emergency community activity restriction (PPKM), reaching a value of Rp. 83.40 trillion. The number of bids increased by 19.23% from the previous bonds auction of around Rp. 69.
