Jakarta - PT Astra International Tbk (ASII) achieved a jump in profit attributable to owners in the first nine months of this year by around 55.77% to Rp23.330 trillion from the same period last year of Rp14.977 trillion.

The company's financial report published on Wednesday (2/11) showed that the higher net income of around 32.22% to Rp221.354 trillion from Rp167.402 trillion boosted the strengthening profit.

Along with the increase in net income, the cost of revenue also increased by around 29.68% to Rp170.075 trillion from Rp131.148 trillion.

ASII also succeeded in increasing the fair value gain on an investment in PT Gojek Tokopedia Tbk by Rp1.081 trillion, and net other income also more than doubled to Rp1.237 trillion from Rp564 billion.

ASII's total assets reached Rp412.017 trillion as of September this year, with liabilities of Rp174.153 trillion and equity of Rp237.864 trillion.
