Jakarta - PT Indosat Tbk (ISAT) managed to record a profit for the year attributable to owners throughout 2021 of Rp6.750 trillion from the previous year's loss of around Rp716.719 billion.

The company's financial report published on Tuesday (22/2), this positive profit performance was boosted by an increase in revenue of around 12.40% to Rp31.388 trillion from Rp27.925 trillion.

In addition, Indosat managed to reduce expenses by about 17.59%, bringing Rp21.034 trillion from Rp25.526 trillion.

This achievement was supported by the company's ability to earn a net profit from selling and leasing towers of Rp6.017 trillion, profits associated with the loss of control over subsidiaries of Rp978.063 billion, and the payment of related party debts for brand licensing fees of around Rp263.923 billion.
