PT Indosat Tbk (ISAT) recorded an increase in data service traffic by 10% during Lebaran or Ied Festive 2021 compared to normal days.

The increase in data traffic occurred mostly in the regions of Aceh, Banten, West Java, Central Java, and East Java.

From the category per application type, usage of mobile gaming services was recorded to have increased by 90%, social media was up 26%, messaging and video calls were up 21%, and streaming video and music were up 1%.

The use of the TikTok, Instagram, and WhatsApp applications increased sharply during this year's Eid, including the use of online game applications such as Mobile Legends, PUBG Mobile, and Free Fire.
