PT Indopoly Swakarsa Industry Tbk (IPOL), a leading manufacturer of flexible packaging film in Asia with the trademark Ilene, plans to increase the capacity of its factories abroad and in Indonesia due to the increasing demand for packaging.

IPOL operates three plants with a total capacity of 100,000 tons/year. In detail, the factory capacity in Purwakarta is 65,000 tons/year, Suzhou China 25,000 tons/year, and Yunnan China 10,000 tons/year.

Deputy President Director of Indopoly Swakarsa Industry, Jeffrey Halim, said that the company is currently reviewing a factory expansion plan by adding new machines.

"However, the details of how much investment and the timing of implementation are still uncertain. One day of course we need to increase our production capacity, just waiting for the right time," he said, Wednesday (28/4).
