Jakarta – PT Indofood CBP Tbk (ICBP) recorded consolidated net sales of Rp28.20 trillion in the first semester of 2021, representing a 22% increase over the same period the previous year of Rp23.05 trillion.

Although the pace of global economic recovery was uncertain due to the ongoing pandemic, ICBP President Director Anthoni Salim claimed that the company was able to record positive operational performance in the first half of this year.

"Going forward," he stated in a statement on Wednesday (25/8), "we will continue to focus on increasing operational excellence, preserving an integrated business model, and ensuring the safety of our employess."

Meanwhile, operating profit also increased 36% to Rp6.36 trillion from Rp4.68 trillion.

However, the growth in sales and operating profit has not been able to lift the current period's profit, which fell about 5% to Rp3.22 trillion from Rp3.38 trillion.
