PT Indofarma Tbk (INAF) set the highest retail price, including VAT for generic ivermectin 12 mg product at Rp157,700 or equivalent to Rp7,885 tablet.

Indofarma Corporate Secretary Warjoko Sumedi said the company set the net pharmacy price policy including VAT for Ivermectin 12 mg tablets containing 20 tablets at Rp123,200 or equivalent to Rp6,160 per tablet.

"We have obtained a distribution permit granted by BPOM with distribution permit number: GKL2120943310A1 for the generic product Ivermectin 12 mg in boxes, 1 bottle @ 20 tablets, on June 20, 2021," Warjoko said in his statement on Friday (9/7).

The company has an existing Ivermectin production capacity of 4.5 million tablets/month using one production line. However, to anticipate the community's needs, the company will increase its capacity to double or more than the existing capacity.
