Jakarta - PT Indofarma Tbk (INAF) received a loan from the shareholder, PT Bio Farma (Persero), worth Rp199.860 billion.

"The shareholder loan agreement between Indofarma and Bio Farma was signed on August 31, 2021," said INAF Corporate Secretary Warjoko Sumedi in the IDX information disclosure, Friday (3/9).

According to Warjoko, the tenor of this shareholder loan is ten years with a coupon of 0% per year or from the first year to the 9th year. However, in the 10th year, it carries a coupon of 7.99%.

"The shareholder loan facility will be used to accelerate the development and bathing of medical devices as well as the development of herbal medicines. We believe this transaction will bring many benefits such as providing strategic added value to the company and is expected to support the company in helping to accelerate the handling of the pandemic," he explained.
