Jakarta - PT Indofarma Tbk (INAF) recorded a loss attributable to owners of Rp90.715 billion in the first half of this year compared to the same period last year, earning a profit of Rp977.780 million.

The company's financial report released on Thursday (8/18) was triggered by an operating loss that reached Rp74,334 billion, a drop from the previous profit of Rp32.211 billion.

Net sales also shrank by around 32.41%, to Rp574.053 billion from Rp849.325 billion.

However, Indofarma managed to reduce the cost of goods sold by around 3.81%, to Rp502,550 billion from Rp522.480 billion.

Selling expenses and other losses also shrunk by approximately 12% to Rp76,253 billion and 93.08% to Rp9,646 billion, respectively.

Until June 2022, Indofarma's total assets reached Rp1.866 trillion, with equity of Rp417.594 billion and liabilities of Rp1.448 trillion.
