Jakarta - PT Indika Energy Tbk (INDY), through its subsidiary PT Indika Multi Properti (Indika Nature), acquired a 46% stake in PT Natura Aromatik Nusantara (Natura).

Indika Energy's Vice President Director and Group CEO Azis Armand said that the share acquisition transaction has a total value of US$11.5 million.

"The acquisition of Natura is part of Indika Energy's diversification strategy in the nature-based solutions sector which will strengthen Indika Nature's supply chain," Azis said in a written statement in Jakarta on Wednesday (1/25).

According to Aziz, agroforestry products such as essential oils have enormous potential and are one of Indonesia's superior products that must be developed by prioritizing sustainability.

Meanwhile, Indika Nature's Chief Executive Officer Leonardus Herwindo added that Indika Nature runs a nature-based solution business by sustainably managing forests.
