Jakarta - The Indonesia Investment Authority (INA), PT Hutama Karya, and PT Waskita Karya Tbk announced an investment collaboration to accelerate the development of toll roads in Indonesia.

This collaboration was marked by the signing of the Heads of Agreement (HOA) between INA and Hutama Karya for several Trans Sumatra Toll Road sections, including the Bakauheni – Terbanggi Besar Toll Road, Terbanggi Besar – Pematang Panggang – Kayu Agung, and Medan – Binjai Toll Roads, as well as confirmation of the transaction's commencement (Confirmation of Transaction Commencement/CTC)

INA CEO Ridha Wirakusumah said that in line with INA's mission to contribute to sustainable economic development in Indonesia, investment in accelerating the construction and development of toll roads, especially Trans Sumatra and Trans Java, will create a multiplicative effect on economic growth and optimize economic potential on the islands of Sumatra and Java
