JCI Rises in Early Trade


Jakarta - The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) on trading, Wednesday (6/8), opened lower by 14.59 points, or 0.2%, to 7,126.45.

Sectoral indices partly supported the JCI weakening. The index with the most profound weakness was the Energy Sector IDX, which fell 0.65%, followed by the Transportation & Logistics Sector IDX, the Financial Sector IDX, the Raw Goods Sector IDX, and the Property & Real Estate Sector IDX.

Meanwhile, the Health Sector IDX was the sector with the highest gain after strengthening by 0.89%, followed by the Industrial Sector IDX, Technology Sector IDX, Non-Premier Consumer Goods Sector IDX, Infrastructure Sector IDX, and Primary Consumer Goods Sector IDX.

Foreign investors recorded a net sell of Rp 46.83 billion in all markets.
