Jakarta - SOE Minister Erick Thohir announced that he had dissolved three state-owned companies: PT Industri Glass, PT Industri Sandang Nusantara, and PT Kertas Kraft Aceh.

"The reason is that these three companies have not been operating for a long time, and it is impossible for a company that is not operating to be silenced so that there is no certainty for its employees," Erick explained at a press conference on Thursday (3/17).

He continued, saying the option to dissolve the SOE was chosen because it could not be consolidated or grouped with other SOEs. However, reducing the number of SOEs does not mean shrinking a company's corporations.

In addition to these three state-owned companies, four other state-owned enterprises will be disbanded. As a result, the total number of companies liquidated was seven SOEs.
