IDX Suspends KONI Shares from Trading


The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) has stopped trading (suspended) shares of PT Perdana Bangun Pusaka Tbk (KONI) due to the significant price hikes in the last few days.

A significant increase in accumulated prices in recent weeks also triggered the temporary suspension.

KONI's share price has jumped from the level of Rp270 on April 13, 2021, to Rp1,975 at the close of yesterday's stock trading.

Previously, the stock exchange authority suspended KONI shares on April 23, 2021, and then reopened on April 24, 2021.

Regarding the significant price hike, Director of Perdana Bangun Pusaka Rudi Lauw, through an official announcement submitted to the IDX, said that the company will hold an incidental public expose tomorrow or Thursday (29/4).

Last year, the company managed to record a jump in profit for the current year attributable to the owners of the parent entity to Rp49.80 billion, compared to 2019 with Rp2.67 billion. The compa
