IDX Suspends Bank Maspion, Bank QNB Shares


The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) temporarily suspended trading of shares of PT Bank Maspion Indonesia Tbk (BMAS) and shares of PT Bank QNB Indonesia Tbk (BKSW).

The suspension of BMAS and BKSW shares is on the regular market and the cash market starting from the first trading session, Monday (8/3), until further stock exchange announcements.

The trading suspension of BMAS and BKSW shares was due to a significant increase in the two shares' cumulative price.

At the close of trading on Friday (5/3), BKSW's share price shot up 21.37% to Rp318 per share. Meanwhile, BMAS shares jumped 25% to Rp1,225 per share.

During the week, BMAS stock price jumped 94.44% and in a month soared 234.7%. Meanwhile, BKSW shares skyrocketed 103.85% in a week and shot 224.49% in a month.
