IDX Monitors Irregular Movements of ARTO, COCO, MARI Shares

The Indonesia Stock Exchange is currently monitoring the movement of shares of PT Bank Jago Tbk (ARTO), PT Wahana Interfood Nusantara Tbk (COCO), and PT Mahaka Radio Integra Tbk (MARI).

"This step was taken in connection with an unusual market activity (UMA) increase," said Head of the IDX Transaction Supervision Division, Lidia M. Panjaitan, in the IDX disclosure, Tuesday (23/2).

On July 6, 2020, the Exchange temporarily stopped trading ARTO shares on the regular market and cash to cool down, and on July 1, 2020, the IDX included trading ARTO shares in the UMA category.

The Exchange asks investors to pay attention to listed companies' answers to the Exchange's request for confirmation and pay close attention to listed companies' performance and their disclosure of information. The IDX said Investors need to review the listed company's corporate action plans if the GMS has not approved the plans and consider various possibilities that may arise later before making an investment decision.

The UMA announcement does not necessarily indicate a violation of the laws and regulations in the capital market.
