Jakarta - PT MNC Energy Investments Tbk (IATA) announced the postponement of the planned implementation of additional capital without preemptive rights or private placement.

"There is no plan to cancel private placements through non-rights issue, but what has happened is the delay in the implementation of non-rights issue due to OJK Regulation No.14/POJK.04/2019 that a company can only hold private placement every two years," said MNC Energy Corporate Secretary Andi Tenri Dala in an information disclosure on Monday (5/17).

He added that the company had carried out a private placement in July 2020. Thus, the company can only implement the next private placement after June 2022.

“Currently, the company will carry out additional shares through a rights issue mechanism. The company will seek approval for the plan at the GMS on Wednesday (5/18).
