Jakarta - PT MNC Energy Investments Tbk (IATA) plans to increase its capital with 14.840 billion series B share preemptive rights.

Based on the company's information disclosure submitted on Monday (5/17), this additional capital was accompanied by the issuance of Series I warrants totaling 2.968 billion series B shares.

The issuance of shares and warrants will be carried out after obtaining approval from the EGMS, to be held on May 18, 2022.

All funds obtained from this additional capital will be used to settle MNC Investama's claim rights to the company based on the promissory note issued by the company in the context of the takeover of Bhakti Coal Resources and the company's working capital.

Meanwhile, the company will reduce MNC Investama's claim rights by US$140 million, or equivalent to Rp2.002 trillion.

Shareholders who do not exercise preemptive rights per their portion will experience a proportional decrease i
