Jakarta - PT Dharma Satya Nusantara Tbk (DSNG), until the third quarter of 2021, posted a net profit of Rp424 billion or a 162% growth compared to the same period in the previous year of Rp163.77 billion.

"Profit growth was driven by the increase in crude palm oil (CPO) prices and improved business performance in the wood products segment," said DSNG President Director Andrianto Oetomo in a statement on Friday (29/10).

According to Andrianto, the company's CPO price rose about 13% to Rp8.7 million per tonne compared to last year's Rp7.7 million per tonne.

The palm oil segment sales increased 12%, although DSNG's CPO sales volume fell 5% to 413 thousand tons due to a decline in CPO production.
